The owners were preparing for longer periods of Caribbean cruising and wanted to reduce their dependence on marinas and shoreside water supplies.
Their existing freshwater capacity was sufficient for short passages, but regular refilling limited how long they could comfortably remain at anchor. They wanted a reliable system that would be straightforward to operate, economical to maintain and suitable for the available installation space aboard. Their main objectives were to achieve:

The complete system was tested and commissioned before handover, and the owners were shown how to operate, flush and maintain it correctly.
The yacht now has a reliable onboard source of fresh water, allowing the owners to spend longer periods at anchor without planning regular marina visits for water.
